The Tickets
For this new edition of the Islands Tournament, for the few disciplines where entry to the stadium is paid, multi-part tickets are planned, allowing for better control while preventing fraud.
When we talk about fraud, we immediately think of the financial aspect, but in reality, this is not the most important. Indeed, ticket fraud means that more people are able to enter the stadium. As a result, the maximum number of spectators the stadium can accommodate is automatically exceeded, jeopardizing all aspects of security required for this type of event.
In addition to a multi-part ticket, depending on the day, stadium, stand category, sport, etc., they will be different colors, making ticketing easier and faster with a simple visual check.
These tickets will also be a means of communication, as the part available to spectators will contain information.
Meetings requiring a ticket
For this edition, more than ten sports are planned, but only the football and basketball events will require paid admission.
For all other events, entry to stadiums and gymnasiums will be free.
Where to buy tickets
Normally, tickets will only be available on match day, at the ticket booth located at the stadium entrance.
For security reasons, the ticket colors for each match will be decided on the day of the match in partnership with all security personnel.
